BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR CLEARING GOODS
The following documents are the minimum requirements:
One original Invoice and two copies
Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
Licenses if applicable (service provided for by our office)

     

PROPOSAL

A. RETAINER FEE
This flat fee can be negotiated to work in the interest of both parties. The only additional charge would be transportation and or trucking of material. A retainer fee would also include applying and obtaining Import License if applicable to your business.

Once all necessary documentation is received by our office, we will prepare and lodge all paper work to the Customs Department for processing within one day.

B. PERCENTAGE FEE
This is a flat one and a half percent (1.5%) for bulk imports and equipment of the CIF value (Cost Insurance and Freight) of the goods as per the Customs Entry.

C. MINIMUM FEE
Minimum fee per Customs Entry $150.00

D. CHARGES BASED ON LINES PER ENTRY
For the first line …………………………………….. $150.00
Each additional line thereafter …………….. $10.00
For the clearing of 40ft Container ………. $850.00
For the clearing of 20ft Container …..$650.00

These charges are inclusive of all stationery and photocopies.

E. ARRANGING LICENCES/PERMITS ETC
A fee of $25.00 for each application.

F. TRANSPORTATION
A minimum transportation service is provided at a minimum cost of EC$125.00 from Castries as far north as Gros Islet or south as far as Cul-de-Sac. Where trucking is required for heavier pieces or container haulage, we will arrange the best rate on your behalf with a reputable trucking service. Payments for such, is for your direct payments unless otherwise arranged.

G. CLEARING OF VEHICLES
Charges vary from new or per vehicle $350.00 plus any applicable for Import Permit - $50.00
